While studying mathematics at Delft University of Technology, Coen van der Poll came into contact with the local Theater de Veste, which “wanted to continue with the internet”, something that was not an absurd question in the early days of the internet. The ambition grew to develop a platform with which all theaters, pop halls, movie houses and orchestras could set up their online marketing. Peppered was born. Since then, the Peppered team has been helping cultural institutions deploy and expand their online channel. Peppered grew with the growth of the internet and soon other, larger and smaller organisations followed, with which the collective of users became increasingly diverse. Meanwhile, our feat of technology has already come a long way and Peppered has grown into the market leader in the Benelux.
